RP Export for Alibre Design - OpenRP RP file export add-on for Alibre Design

This tutorial provides the necessary information and hands-on experience to help you get started with RP Export for Alibre Design.


Step 1: Start Alibre Design.

Step 2: Click "Import" from the "File" menu.  The Alibre Design's "Import File" dialog box is displayed. Browse for a file typically located at "C:\Program Files\OpenRP\RP Export for Alibre Design\Samples\Piston.sat and click Open.

Step 3: The Alibre Design's "Import File Options" dialog box is displayed. Set the "Options" as desired and click OK.

Step 4: Select Export from the RPExport menu.

Step 5: The Alibre Design "Save As" dialog box is displayed. Enter the name of a RP file and click Save.

Step 6: The RP Export for Alibre Design displays a "Password" dialog box. Its an option, either type the password or just click OK.

The file will be successfully exported to a specified RP file
